Overview
QMaster helps small businesses like salons, restaurants and cafés handle walk-ins without paper lists, phone calls or people waiting at the door. The owner opens a queue in seconds and shares a link. Customers join from their phone and wait wherever they like.
The problem
When a place gets busy, the waiting list lives on a scrap of paper or in someone’s head. Customers don’t know how long they’ll wait, so they hover or leave. Owners lose track of who came first.
What it does
For the owner
Open a queue with one click, see who’s waiting and for how long, call the next person and mark anyone who didn’t show. Daily stats show how the day went.
For the customer
Scan a QR code or open the link, enter a name and a phone number, and watch your place in line and your estimated wait update live. No account, no app to install.
Runs itself
Queues close at the end of working hours and daily queues reset at midnight, so there’s nothing to tidy up.
Where it stands
QMaster started as a college team project, and I built most of it. Now it’s getting a second chance: I’m picking it back up and taking it further.
